International Symposium of Pelvic Exenteration 2025
Jointly organized by the Colorectal Surgeons Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and the Shanghai Medical and Health Development Foundation together with the Pelvex–China group, the “Everest Project” ISPE 2025 will be held on 7th-11th, Jan, 2025 in Shanghai.
The treatment of pelvic malignancies (such as locally advanced/recurrent rectal cancer, cervical cancer, and bladder cancer) has long been a challenging area in clinical practice. In recent years, with continuous advancements in surgical techniques and medical concepts, combined pelvic organ resection/total pelvic exenteration has become increasingly recognized as a critical approach for addressing these complex tumors. These operations need exceptionally high surgical skill levels, multi-organ resections and reconstructions, and sophisticated postoperative complication care. This calls for interdisciplinary teams to work closely together and coordinate well.
To support the further development of combined pelvic organ resection/total pelvic exenteration procedures in China and to improve academic collaboration and communication both domestically and internationally, this conference will feature a number of specialized forums and panels of discussion. During this event, we are pleased to invite special guests and experts from Australia, Malaysia and China to address the latest developments, explore the technical highlights and cutting-edge procedures of pelvic organ resection and total pelvic exenteration, and engage in comprehensive discussions on significant issues in the field.
We sincerely invites you to attend this prestigious event and look forward to seeing you beside the Huangpu River!
